At Lindeneau Elementary School, learning doesn't stop just because it's summer! We hope all our families are enjoying a well-deserved breakβand weβre excited to invite students to take part in our Summer Reading Challenge to keep those reading skills sharp.
Each student was given the opportunity to choose several books to take home for the summer to continue reading. As a fun way to stay engaged, students are encouraged to read at least 45 minutes each weekβthatβs less than 10 minutes a day!
To celebrate our readersβ dedication, weβre hosting Weekly Reading Check-Ins every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lindeneau School. Students can stop by with their completed reading log and receive a special treat from Mr. Platvoet and Mrs. Fischer! Even betterβthe Edison Library will be visiting Lindeneau on select Tuesdays so families can check out new books to enjoy at home.
Our first Reading Check-In kicks off Tuesday, June 30th, and we canβt wait to see how many books our Lindeneau readers have already explored. Letβs keep the pages turning this summerβSCHOOLβS OUT, BUT READING IS IN!
